MANAGEMENT AND FINANCE

Management

The building is owned by the trustees of the Charing Cross Centre. Use of the building is governed by a constitution and the Charity Commission.

The Centre is supported by people from all walks of life who annually elect a Management Committee.  We welcome volunteers to help in various ways.

A Manager, together with part time administrative and security staff, are employed to support the activities of the Centre.

Finance

The usual overheads of rent, rates, heating, cleaning and administration are offset by income from the charges for offices and meeting rooms.  The trustees aim to cover costs, allow for contingencies and to provide a fund for continuous development of the facilities.  Any profit is ploughed back into organisations working with young people in accordance with the constitution.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

The Trustees gratefully acknowledge the assistance of the National Lottery Charities Board, Norwich Consolidated Charities, Norfolk County Council and others in making the purchase of the building and the continued service provision possible.

The Charing Cross Centre is an ideally situated venue in the middle of Norwich for conferences, meetings, training courses or seminars.
